- Something to do with ghosts and someone being haunted by them. I was thinking of taking a picture of a room, manipulating it, drawing a person in the room, and then drawing a ghostly person with them. The ghostly person is to represent a lost/ past lover. It could be literal, as in the person lost their lover, or metaphorical, as in the lover left the person but they are still haunted by their presence.
- Another idea is a self portrait of myself. I would take a photo of my face but only use half of it. I would draw the other half. The photo half would show the normal, calm, shy half of myself. The drawn side would somehow represent the outgoing, creative, and crazy half of me.
- Another is to take a photo of my profile (side view of face) and then manipulate it to make it seem as if the top part of my head is opened up. From my head will flow drawings and words that show who I am and what I think about. I am sort of liking this idea the best.
- My last idea is too try and represent an "art block" or "inspiration/ motivation block." I would probably take a photo of myself to incorporate into the picture. I'm not really sure how to show the actual "block." Maybe a monster of some sort?

Final Project
For my final project, I will be honest and say that I have been thinking about it, but I can't really decide on something that I think that I would be satisfied with. I have a few ideas however, but I would like some feedback on what you guys think would be the most successful. I want to incorporate a lot of drawing for this project since it is open ended, but also use photographs. Here are my ideas so far:
Final for Cyclical Nature
I added a bit of an antique look to the mirrors (it also helped blend them in with the background a bit better. I also added a white streak across each face in the mirror in order to give it more of a reflective look. I added cracks in the mirrors where the face has more makeup. I kept the background colorful because I wanted it to be a bit ironic. While the mirror faces show a somewhat sad face, showing the mundane task of putting on makeup every single day, the background is happy and cheerful, like a makeup ad (and also because some people, like myself, actually enjoy putting makeup on everyday).

These are just the faces cut out with the tutorial for soft skin applied. I plan to draw in the hair so that it will look neater and more equal than the actual photographs of my hair. I'm still not so sure how to go about making this look visually appealing. I have a few ideas so I will play around with those.
