I tried drawing hair on my faces, but to be honest it just looked crappy. So now I will use this!

    This reminds me a tad of "mirror mirror on the wall..." Can't respond to how they will be composited. One problem will be the visual hierarchy? Where will the focal point be? I thought the shattered glass idea would give you a better chance to establish hierarchy. generally speaking, an image that has the same active surface doing the same thing on the real estate of the picture plane causes busy-ness. Should actual images of actual objects used to apply makeup be used? Do we need to see all sections of the face at all times. maybe the challenge to time and or motion applied to the event/ritual of putting on makeup will give you more options.
